Coming Home

Hey everybody. Going good out here. Sailing west towards Hawaii. I'll try and check in from time to time. The internet is terribly slooowwwww. Take care
 
ya i rember that on the boat, i had to use my chiefs log in to evan get the net. and than it was like 28k modem speed what a pita, i almost lost my hotmail accound because i couldent check it enough,
where you going?
if any cool places you got room to bring somthing back?
 
Hey everybody just checkin in. We left hawaii a couple of days ago and are still headed west. We cross the dateline tonight and jump a day forward. Things are going pretty smoothly out here. Missing home, and my K-5. Hopefully have some money and some time when I get back to go wheelin and do some upgrades. Well take care everybody.

Hey everybody,

How's things in the CK5 world? Goin ok out here. Finally made it to the great mud puddle in the middle east (persian gulf) :crazy: It's been between 90 and we have had as high as 138 degrees on the flight deck last week. We will be halfway done in about 2 weeks :laugh: Well just checkin in to say hi. Feel free to e-mail me any cool Wheelin or Poser pics. I am in need of a wheelin fix, but pictures and videos are about the best we can hope for. Might try and go on a trip in Austrailia when we get there. Hope all is well there. I'll try and check back in a couple weeks.

Hey everybody. Thought I would check in again and say hi. It only took me about 2 hours to get to this reply screen. I proabably used 50% of the ships allowable bandwidth. Not much new here we are finally headed east towards home after a couple short stops in Australia :) Got a little under 7 weeks left, but it feels like the time has stopped completely. I will check back again from Australia. I got a hotel there with hi-speed internet so I'll do some catching up after some well deserved liberty. Take care

Glad to see you are on your way home. Australia is the bomb that place kicks ass. We went to Brisbane in 2000 on our way home from Pac. You could get a pitcher of VB or XXXX (spoken 4 EX) for $7.00 AU which is about $3.50 US. The people are great down there also. Hope you have a blast.

Glad your comming home. Now only if my best friend will be able to get his leave in Nov that would be cool. But he said its not looking good. :eek1:
 
WOOOHOOO!! We are in Hawaii again. Only 7 days between now and San Diego. It actually seemed to go by fast except for about a month in the middle when we were on station in the gulf there it fely like I was never comin home. I have TONS of pretty cool pictures if you like airplanes and ships :doah: Well we actually have good internet here on the pier so I thought I would check in and say hi again. I'll re-up my CK5 dues when I get home, and I'll be talkin to everybody again in about a week.
 
I am soo out of the loop of what has happened in the last 6 months. I have lots of reading to do when I get home I am sure.
 
Ahhh :D somebody lost him again. Well we pullout in the mornin, and head for San Diego. I can't wait it's gonna be a slow week I know that. I'll talk to you all when I return.

He is not advertising his deployment schedule. He is telling all when he will be back for the deployment. Not a big deal.......If you think it is then do one of a few things.

1. Look in the newspaper. They will tell you
2. Turn on the T.V. They will tell you too.
3. Call the base info office or the PAO. They will tell you too.

Not like the return date is "G14 classified":D If it was, no one would be on the pier waiting for the ships to return.
 
Its not just the deployments. Read all the posts. People talking about being short-handed in specific AFSC's. I don't know about all of you, but I was brought up not to talk about that kind of stuff to people that don't need to know. And I especially wouldn't post it on the internet where just anybody could read it. Just because others do it does it make it right? NO.
One guy even has "Seal Delivery Vehicle Driver" in his signature. Come on now. If he posts when he's going TDY, he's advertising that SEAL's are going somewhere.
I don't know, maybe you Navy guys don't worry about it too much since when you deploy, your whole ship goes.
