Common light issues?

Well let's put this thing in the ground.

As in 3 broken grounds. 2 kind of obvious, 1 broken back in the loom.

I took out the 3 different attempts at trailer wiring as much as possible. Repaired every different wire at some point in the rear harness. Some wires were repaired at least 4 times.

I need to pull the rear stuff and replace everything eventually.

But all lights function fully :saweet::woot::woot:

Glad its fixed--I thought all progress had ground to a halt!..

Maybe a salvage yard truck might have an unmolested rear lamps harness...a big maybe, chances are slim, if it had a trailer hitch though..might be like trying to find a virgin in a brothel....

I have used a roll of trailer light wire that has the right color codes to fix a few butchered up harnesses on my trucks--cut the plug off at the front end near the transmission and at the rear of the frame and splice them onto the new wires...solder & heat shrink works best and lasts longest..(I admit I probably have wire nuts on my plow lights and various other locations though, and they still work !)..
