Complete 14 Bolt Brake Conversion Kit!

BigBlock454-

There is a chance it will, and a chance it wont...

Post 87 14 bolts are always a gamble in terms of disc brakes. The 4 bolt flange distance and bolt pattern went through many slightly different renditions after 87, and in some years there were as many as 5 different bolt patters found. The only issue is that 4 bolt pattern and the spacing to the hub, so my suggestion would be to order the kit, and see if it goes right on or if it could be made to work with a little modification (die grinding out the bolt holes, or putting a washer or two between the bracket and the axle).

If there looks to be no way of modifying it, then we can exchange the brackets themselves for some weld-on brackets, and you can attach them to the axle that way.

I've used this kit, it works awesome and is easy to put on! Single best upgrade we've done to a 14bolt to reduce weight and complexity!

At the moment, I don't carry any aside from the fact that our brackets do fit the Cadillac El Dorado calipers with the 7.05" mounting width. We were looking into some things at SEMA and AAPX this year with the e-brakes in mind, but as of yet we do not have any.

There are a few common options people have done to retain the ebrake, some folks use a line-lock system, which can be electric or manually actuated. Others have gone with a small (atv sized) disc brake at the rear output of the transfer case, or you can also get stand-alone calipers that are cable actuated to go on your rotors in addition to the hydraulic 3/4 ton calipers (Wilwood makes them, and I'm sure there are others out there).

As soon as we have an e-brake option, this thread will know about it!
