Ok...we only told him to go through the mud pit at hollister hills. But he backs up all far before going in, and if you know hollister the pit has a lip right before and then it dips down pretty far. Then he floors it and jumps into the mud pit all fast and the nose of his truck crashes into the mud.

So total damage to the guys truck: lost the grille, smashed the fenders into the doors, wouldnt be surprised if there was some frame damage, but somehow the ifs held up

that was hilarious. and did that kid ride in the back through the jump? I never saw him in the video.

"fock it, daddy bought it!"

That's why my kids will all be getting 1978 VW rabbits...

We talked a guy into a similar stunt in a week old Land Rover. It took three wenches to get him out. In the Rovers defense, the door seals and recovery point both work great.

:doah:that was just not smart. that guy just ruined a nice truck. not cool. i'd feel pretty sick if i trashed a nice truck for one dumb thrill. looked kind of fun, but i bet the landing wasn't pleasant.

Wow that made my day. I wish I could conince the stupid kids around here to do stuff like that, but its allways I'll do it, if you do it first. I did manage to get a kid to high centered on a log in his stock jeep though:D.

You only young once and you might as well tear it up then. cause when you get old and have kids your money sources go to them.

Is that the pit they use for TTC or is there another one that looks just like it?

Yeah surprisingly! I got the guys email cause he wanted the vid and he was telling me the only thing that he can tell happened is he lost the grille and the fenders rub on the doors now

so, he contradicted himself, huh? why does he thing the fenders are rubbing the doors? because he bent the body and probably the frame. i have a 94 extended cab chevy and i don't think it could take a landing like that without some frame damage. he'd better keep an eye on his steering and front suspension, too.

My old stomping grounds. Funny, I've seen some pretty stupid stuff in the mud pit.

hahaha ok so I guess he's selling the truck now...he added me on manspace and he posts a bulletin saying this:
"anyone want to buy my truck??? hahaha that was a dumb question...i dont want to sell that p.o.s. to anyone within a 100 mile radius cause i dont want them to come kill me when they find out half the **** that is wrong with it. lol"
