I know they sell these for jeeps, has anyone seen something similar for Blazers. I am currently toying with the idea and started some blue prints, they will be transfered to steel in the next few days....blame it on the rocks

5-6 years ago when people weren't cutting the bodies as much and truggies were unheard of a lot of the tube rear bumpers had wings that extended forward to cover that area. ORD made them.

I played around with making some for a while. Cut the corner off a junk body took it to a couple places to see what it would take to replicate with at least 3/16 thickness. Too much unless your quanity was over a thousand they would still be pretty spendy too.

But mine wrapped around the whole back and protected the tailight too

The trouble are the multi-dimensional complex curves of the Blazer body. Jeeps are easy since the body is flat with a single radius in one plane.

Building a bumper with wrap-around side guards seems to be the most popular option, or you could dove tail it (I did both).

still on the back burner, took the posi out from the front and installed the ARB, now its just a matter of giving up a weekend wheeling and getting back to work on the corner guards
