Correct Speedometer Reading...anyone care?

Ok, my speedometer has always been off, but been thinking about "attempting" to make it right this time around.

Anyone have this same setup or know which transfer case and speedo side gears I will need to get to make it right?

400Turbo/208 4.56s 38.5s

It is a 87 Chevy so it has mechanical speedo stuff.

Any ideas??

Mine being off gives me one get out of a ticket free card. I am going to leave it. I know around how fast I am going though because I checked it with a calculator online.

Here is a calculator, I dont know if it would be the same for the TH400 as the 700R4?

This has everything you need to right your speedo. I plan on ordering one of their speedo cable speed reducers of 26.7% so I don't have to dig into the tail shaft of my t-case. However they are pricey at $62. But cheaper than going to an aftermarket electric programable speedo, which I still want to do.
