correct way to shift 205?

i can NOT git my xfer case in (4 LOW)

i pull "straight back" for (4 HIGH), and then what? back MORE for (4 LOW)??

my shifter knob does not have a guide as to where to find the gears, nor have i ever had a 205 case b4.

is it over and up?
is it back MORE (and my linkage is faulty?)
HOW DO I SHIFT INTO (4 LOW)

...i cant even find NEUTRAL, i just got 2 HIGH and 4 HIGH as far as im concerned..

thanks in advance and a guide would be cool if any of you 205 users could show me the ropes.

The 205 has a straight front to rear pattern -

that helps SO MUCH! i been yankin on the shifter knob ta bring it back into 4 low, when evidently it was all the way UP this whole time!
