cost of exo-cage vs family cage

i know someone who got an exocage for less than a grand, and i've been quoted more than a grand for a family cage. so my question is this.
if a exo-cage is the same price or less than a family cage, what are the draw backs? i think i'd prefer an exo cage

Unless your willing to go through the body and essentially do both, the exo will not be as strong... You will not have the diag. x bracing at the b pillar nor anywhere else... I'm running mine into the cab and it's going to tie into the inner cage to make it all one big piece.
