I understand the issues with both wheels spinning, and no "idler" wheel to guide, but is it really that bad? I plow alot of snow, and it would really help.
Which style of LS would work the "best", or rather, cause the least lack of control???
I really hope to have a front D60 for the coming winter... Anyone got a 3.73? I hope be out West. I could use the one I have from my 3500SRW, but it's sooooo rusty! Thx!

A Tru Trac should let you be able to drive on snow and still be able to turn the wheels and not go straight. That's what I am going to buy when i get a couple extra $. I use my truck for hunting in the winter and want to get the best traction available both off road and on snowy highways.

Why not go with a selectable locker like an ARB or an OX locker. Easy to engage when you need, and none of the side effects of typical lockers on the street.

All these terms are weird to me. I guess I'm a newbie! And DUH!!!! Of course I could unlock the hubs, but I transition from dry plowed roads to snow very often, so a better desription of these acronyms would help!
ARB??? OX Locker???? TruTrac??? Sheeesh... Are any of these air controlled? Sounds $$$$ What's the POSI that GM supplied in the rear DANA, if that ever existed out back. I'm not sure if I want to spend the thousands it would take to do this right?!?!?!?!?!

I have a front truetrac (worm gear style limited slip solid by eaton or "detroit") It works great and I leave my front locked 90% of the winter. I personnally am going lockrite in my K30 front 60 cause I am cheap and want a easy locker install.
