Ok, I did a search and still didn't find quite the information I was looking for. I'm thinking about upgrading to 1-ton axles. What I need to know is what trucks I should be looking at that would be a direct bolt-in. My fabrication skills are kinda limited. Any help you guys could be would be greatly appreciated. Oh, my project is a 1978 Blazer with 400sb and 35" tires.

A 60 from any chevy SRW should be a direct swap. For the rear, you will need to find a 3/4 with a 14BFF. The 1-tons/CUCV's have a more narrow spring perch width by about 2" and will have to be moved.

yep, thats about it. front 60 from any 1 ton 4x4 73-87 (SRW). rear 14ff from any 3/4 ton 73-87.
