Yep, the pup was a happy camper! She hiked the whole way in snow at least as deep this:

fortunately she only weighs 50 lbs, so she doesn't sink in more than that! She was really worn out after 6 miles of hiking. She was able to do the return trip easier because she could just lead us down the trail that we'd already broken... but on the way up it was fresh powder and she was up ahead. The dog did get chilly when we stopped for a break at our destination, but we put down a mat for her to sit on and she was happier.

I just looked up Cottonwood Peak - that's only a stone's throw from here. Do you get there from HWY 96, or Ditch Creek or Copco I-5 exits?

Basically you can go up there several different ways. From Hwy 96, Copco, Ditch Creek, and Hilt. You can drive from Nevada to the coast on Forest Circus roads up here.

I think it's just the pretty girl in 'em. Tho I don't think I posted any of her this time. Actually, it's hard to take a sucky photo of Oregon.

yeah, my sister lives out there, works for nike in portland. Keep meaning to go visit. she goes offroading with a toyota club, shes got a 1988 4 runner. all stock, with the 4 banger. and my bro has the 1973 bronco... somehow we all wound up with convertable trucks lol.

Ill definatly be taking a camera along when i go. heres hoping i run into some girls as pretty as your wife while im out there... i may never leave
