Cranking torsion bars update now with pics

Sure...uhm...you were giving us an example of a kit that require adjustment on a truck that has nothing to do with the trucks we are talking about in this thread.

83-97 Ford Rangers usually require you to use the 4" lift holes on the Skyjacker axle beam brackets instead of the 6" lift holes to get the 6" lifts to align correctly. However this has nothing to do with the 88-99 Chevy fullsize truck lifts other than being another lift for another truck that requires a bit of adjustment.

Your point pertaining to this thread?

Hey BOYS! cut it out! Now both of you, grab some mops and clean up this testosterone mess. I see slapperbars point, and there are lifts for the 88-98 trucks that specify some torsion bar crankage, just not any that I will buy.

Go to "TheDieselPlace.com" for reviews on T-bar crank. Definetely unload the front end before turning the screws. Just MHO, don't use an impact, use your hands.
I don't have diesel, but I cranked my 2007.
Get the yellow Bilsteins.
I don't know if your model year has the yellow snubber on the lower A-arm, if so, toss it. JMHO.
Edit; It's been a while, so I forgot. The yellow snubber is mounted on the frame.

Have a bunch of parts waiting for me at home as soon as i fire up the chalet and escape the rig for a few days. I to did the homework for my 06 2500 dmax on the diesel place and ordered all the cognito parts....uca's...dual shock hoops...stiffeners...etc. On the late model trucks if you use the keys and crank the bars you'll fine that getting a finger between the back of the uca and the frame mounted stop bracket is all your gonna get....and that is all the suspension travel you will have. Check out cognito motorsports and see what they offer for your ride and do it right. Mine came with the keys and shocks....i learned the hard way as the oil fields beat the tar out of the poor truck...
