Crazy Doubler idea, opinions wanted!

why not put the bigger "1 3/8 Grain Truck" input shaft in the 2nd 465......that would help the breakage problems im sure.......and i know you can get hardened/billet input shafts for a SM465, cause there are pulling truck guys out there running them with double disk clutches and close to a 1000 horsepower......

i think an automatic tranny with 465/205 mounted behind it would be a good setup cause the auto can help smooth out the torque from the engine......but i think it would work best in a crew cab pickup setup cause of the length.....

or just put a 203/205 double setup then run it into a divorced 205 with a 4:1 kit....

A guy that TTC a few years back with the articlated chasis M-37 ran a turbo 400/456 to 205 setup, seemed to work pretty well

I've got the machine shop spitting out my NP203/203/205 adaptor set...should be "interesting". My front driveshaft is a hair longer than the rear. Probably wouldn't be possible if I didn't push my rear axle back 5". I went with 1410 shafts from a dodge diesel, and yokes from high angle. My static operating angle for the rear is 19*.

I'll post pics when it's done of course. I hadn't initally planned to do this, so I have to get WMS to cut me another mainshaft. I'm thinking i might go with a solid billet 2nd shaft, theres going to be some parts breaking reduction going on.

I wanna see this ^^^ the 203 -203-205 and How much $ for your custom adapter??????:D:D:bow::bow:
