Crazy motor idea. stroke vs bore.

Wasn't thinking of them. When I say different I was thinking of stuff no one builds, or would ask why? the 455, and 500 were good motors. I also want to keep my sm465 in it, so i need to think about bellhousings, and the long road trips I take.

Different? How about 455ci as in Buick or Olds, maybe even Pontiac? I seem to remember 510 ft lbs of torque at 2800 rpms for the Stage 1 Buick!
Absolutly!!! I am putting the 400 pontiac out of my race car in the 80 3/4 ton. Pontiacs will outpull/grunt them chevies anyday of the week!!
