Crew cab and blazer part out.

Like I said, it could be a while before I can start tearing into things. Don't want you guys waiting on me having paid for something and I can't get to it for a few months yet.

It is gona happen though. Typically when I make up my mind about something, anybody who knows me, aint no use tryin' to talk me out of it. It's gona happen.

I would be interested in the body of the CC.
I have a CUCV M1008 rolling chassis I would mount it on.
I'm only about 2 1/2 hours from you. Delivered that Caddy engine to you in the Sioux Falls MAC's parking lot a few years ago.

My interest is how you're going to make it to BB14? :deal:

Any pics of the cab? Rough idea on the price?

Nothing real recent but my build thread has a lot of pics. There are some minor issues. 99% solid though.

Yep, I remember that. I hit you back with a PM.

That might not happen. It was in jeopardy either way though. I can always jump on a plane.

Tires wheels i am interested in.

Thanks for expressing interest. Good to know there are potential homes for some of the parts.

Most likely tires will stay in my posession for the new build.

Quite a few interested in the wheels.

I'd prefer just the rims, but would buy the tires if need be..... unless we come up with some full chassis deal, than obviously I'd want at least 4 cr@ppy rollers on said rims..

what where those tires anyway? I remember you said you went to a radial..

Pretty certain i'm gona part out my crew cab and blazer and building something else.

Just curious if there is any interest in the chassis and body of either one?

Not gona get out of wheelin' so don't go thinkin' that. I just have a build that I want to do and to be honest, these two sit 95% of the year. The new build will not.

I am very interested in parts of your blazer!!!

I think they're Goodyear military OZ 37-12.50's

thanks Dave.. and that was 16.5 stuff right?

just trying to think what I would buy in that size tire..

Yep, pretty sure the old 36 bias and these 37's are the H1 spec tires.

the 16.5 selection is getting pretty scarce, especially in radial.. other than the usual interco offerings, the only thing I really see out there are the mil goodyears and the mil BFG bajas... oh, and all the PB's...

that be pretty gnarly looking 37 x 12.5 rockers on a dually... :eek1:

I gotta say just from looking at the goodyears compared to the BFG's, I'm liking the looks of the BFG tread better.. more aggressive.. but I've driven neither so that's just a first impression..

if I have to buy tires, I'd be leaning toward a set of the BFG's from www.militaryoffroadtires...

from the input I got on the goodyear OZ's they are good on road and in sand/loose terrain, but not for rocks or muddy stuff.
I've heard better all around quotes on those BFG military (which is why the military is getting rid of all the Goodyears)

they are $25 more per tire, but I like the looks of them... I've heard the goodyears are pretty heavy too..

obviously going on Mutt, 90% of what they will see is street duty.. but mud and snow would be what it would see... I would look at the BFG's first, than the GY's prolly, than the various PB's... Interco offerings would be the last choice due to wear and balance notoriety.....

So far, my plan is to keep the military 37's for the new build. It wouldn't be tough to come up with a set of rollers if somebody wanted the entire chassis.

lloydrage, what parts?

Kert, I've searched for but can't find a build thread on the K5 to refamiliarize myself with what all is there. Can you post a link or description?
