I searched but i didnt find anything. anyone swap a crew cab body on a k5 frame? link?

Seems like it would be alot better idea to swap on a burb body then weld up the back like a CC. No real tech to support this just a thought

edit: Its worth mentioning that around here NICE burb bodys are incredibly cheap im talkin 500 bucks cheap for a running one if you look hard enough. I saw several in the search for my tow rig. Most of the awesome deals on burbs seemed to be in socal for whatever reason though. I drove down to Ventura to get mine but well worth it.

been covered before. and blazer frame = way to short wheel base. rear tires would be basicly under the rear doors.

mtchevy did it on a shortbed truck frame. and moved his rear axle back 4" if i recall and still had to 45* the back of the cab n doors.

burban frame or chop down a crew cab frame = best / fastest options.

click my link in my sig for project stubby.

Aw that sucks. I always wanted to do a single cab on a blazer frame with a flatbed. Super short truggy.

THAT can be done. in fact my buddy is selling one right now.

but a blazer with a full burb/CC body would be too short, unless you were gonna link it and put the axle at the very end of the frame and only use the cab of the CC, imight be doable, idk for certain tho

its called a trazer.

And a CC on a blazer would be lame. i would rather get a CC frame and chop it up, since the blazer frames suck and are made out of paper.

Did someone say Trazer?
