crew cab fuel problems?

I have a 88 tbi crew cab with dual saddle tanks. I ran one till it ran out of gas and now when I use that tank the truck wont stay on unless I hold the pedal down and it misses and idles up and down like a furd. But the other tank is perfectly fine any suggestions on what to check.

check the fuel pump pressure from the effected tank.

Does each tank have its own fuel pump.

yes, and I would bet money that it burned out when you ran it out of fuel. Very common problem on fuel injected systems.
