ive got a 6.2 C20 suburban (one in my sig) and im thinking of putting a crew cab on it with no bed, just a short steel flatbed and a gooseneck hitch for towing, and bolt a set of duals on the rear axle, im going to put a 4 speed i got behind it instead of the automatic.......

so how hard would it be??? im sure you would have to put a body mount somewhere on the frame for the rear of the cab which is no big deal......

that's exactly what i want to build as a trail rig someday... should be a little better than my 165" wheelbase, no...!?

I am using a long bed frame for mine, but from what I have seen the burb frame seems a little less work

I am just chopping my crew cab frame, much stronger frame. and no need to relocate the body, it's already there.

x2 on my build up. i am moving full rear suspension up 30-35" range and cutting off back half. then still tag/title and strength of 1ton.
