I think this would be more acurate for a Suburban frame, shorther than the original Blazr77400 image. Sub frame is shorter than a crewcab with a standard shortbox.

I love that red truck, I would do that but I afraid to cut up yet another clean ass chevy. Heres my dually, not much now but has 80k original and runs great. I dont want to mess with this truck much but I got a set of hummer rims and some 37's hummer tires for waaaayyyy cheap. So I think a new bed, 5 inch or so lift and 37's will do nicely. Oh and of course a paint job.

you need to get ahold of chopped&bobbed77burb. he has done the exact thing you are talking about. his was a 70's burb, he shortened it on the rear, cut off the roof from the cargo space, added a wall behind the back seat, put a k5 fuel tank in the bed, put his spare on top of it, exo'd, rollcage. . . that thing is sweet. we're going wheeling this weekend so maybe i'll snap some pics for you.
