Crew cab. Use it or lose it.

I finished my fuel tank late last night. All that remains is a pressure/leak test and to hook it up after painting is completed.

What a relief!

Is 6200 cfm of fan cooling too much?:haha: Got my fans installed on the rad tonight. Dual 16" fans. Got to find a good dual fan controller to hook 'em up yet.

Console looks great Kert.

Thanks! Hope to start wiring some stuff together pretty soon. Finally got the last of the gauges in the other day. Dropped some batteries in her tonight too. Time to start making battery cables.

I built a cable end crimper that fits in the shop press brake. That sure does make it easy!

You gonna bust that out tomorrow? I can't wait to see what 100 tons does to a copper terminal. :D

Let's get some full-on pics of this thing!! Let's see it - outside, all angles.

I'll snap some when it comes out for popping the box off to go to the body shop. Shouldn't be to far off.

Looking real good Kert!

I have a SRW '82 crew cab and I like what you did with your console. I'm thinking of doing the same, but only if money will allow me.

Sexy truck, man.... sexy.

Yep, AC and onboard air. I must be getting old. AC used to be the first thing to go. These days, I'll bust ass to keep it on. AC is kind of a funny deal.

Compressor came off the original 6.2. Had the same shape and bolt pattern as the original Cadillac compressor so it fit in the stock location allowing me to use the factory bracketry with some small spacers. 2" shorter overall to clear the demon carb. The lines on the caddy used to come straight out the back. The line assembly on there is from a s-10 blazer. bolt right on but come out the sides of the manifold and has the right ends on it and pretty close on the length. What a mess!

Thanks for the compliments Badass90k5. She's getting OH so close!

Are you still using the factory intake manifold or aftermarket? If that is the one you got off Marv, it looks a lot better than when I owned it.

Yep, still the factory intake. Supposed to be decent torque available with that intake. It's ported pretty good though too.

i couldn't say for sure if this is the one that came from Marv or not. I have a handful of them now for spares and such. Kinda got hard to keep track of which one was from where.

Let me know if you want to get rid of any of them. The 6.2 in the sub just isn' cutting it like the old BBC in the CC did and I keep kicking myself for selling to marv.
