crew cabs

How much ya think a chopped (little or no bed) crewcab weighs compared to a K5?

The bodweight is prolly pretty similar but the frame of a crew cab is alot more.

I'd rather have less body weight and more frame weight. And 4 doors, no climbing over front seats, seat 6 people if you have 2 benches.

I think a CC might actually be lighter in the body...no tgate, but has doors...removable would help...

A fully dressed 1 ton K5 weighs a good 6k #s, no?

I think my CC dually K30 weighs about 6500 #s stock.

My 3/4T K5 with a small block and aluminum rims weighs 5,260lbs.

My Crew Cab 4x4 SRW but with a utility bed weighs 6720lbs.

If your ever a little ways further up north I'd be happy to weigh something for you.

then my rear doors fold down with steps on the inside, i'm adding a zero rate up front to level it out and trimming the fenders to fit some 49" mils soon

plus i need more mud, i've never in all the holes i've been 2 need to put it in 4wd. thats with 18" mud and water over the tires,

Hold on let me clean the drool from my keyboard. I love these trucks the lifted one with the camper and swampers makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside

Yeah, but you likely have stuff in yours. That is mine completely empty, nothing in the cab or bed.

I should be around 8,500lbs when I get my portable welder, compressor, torch bottles, and a ton of tools on board.

Little does that seller know the rearend is actually a D70HD, not a 14FF.
