Not I.

GM ditched the torsion bars in half tons in 2007. Coil overs ever since.

$28k took her home. Reasonable price on BaT IMO considering condition in current market, though burbs still dragging behind k5’s. That would have been a $40k+ k5 in that condition on BaT

I though GM quit using wood floors in 1938.
They quit using wood for body structures starting with the 1935 Master, 1935 Eagle's still used wood for the body structure/floor. Wood was used for some floors until 1972 in Suburban's. My 38 2dr is all steel.

@ZooMad75

what do ya think 7500 for a fixer upper
Sadly it’s in the realm of normal. Even with what’s missing. Sure you got a full floor pan to replace. Pretty normal need for one of these. The spots where Nomads rot like the drip rail area on the roof look ok. The gate looks ok (can’t tell for sure until it’s stripped). For a ‘56 it is missing the Nomad specific trim on the front of the quarter. That chunk of trim is known as the dog leg and unlike sedans and hardtop trim the dog leg bends forward to match the b-pillar not rearward to meet the dip in the belt line.

Looks like it needs glass, but that’s reproduced. It’s going to need a truckload of trim inside that may or may not be missing.

The good news is the floors are reproduced. From the axle forward the floor is the same between wagons and regular cars. The rear cargo area is specific on wagons due to the revised spare location.

Somebody will spend a ton of money to bring it back to life.
