I think Russell was the person who observed that a first generation Duramax almost dropped right into a 90s body style engine bay like it was made for it.
there has been a few guys doing or did d-max swap with allison trans in these trucks . 2wd and maybe 1 4wd .
Be a shame if someone put a Smokey old 12 valve in that piece
now you bastards got me thinking . . . 10k mile 6.5 i might live with it for my use . . but the 41" tall tires for plowing and the length of it = got to go .
how close is it to you buddy ? in case i wanted eye's on it .
i know i am in the 2k price just to ship it up .

Nah not really. Not a lot happening out there either.
12” blocks my goodness people are ****ing idiots ! Hell I refuse to use a 2” block ! When I installed my rear Skyjacker springs many years ago I wanted some rake, I disassembled the stock spring packs robbed the bottom straight load carrier leafs painted them up nice and bought some longer center bolts and added them to the Skyjacker packs, works perfect looks kool and does not adversely affect ride at all….
