

there has been a few guys doing or did d-max swap with allison trans in these trucks . 2wd and maybe 1 4wd .I think Russell was the person who observed that a first generation Duramax almost dropped right into a 90s body style engine bay like it was made for it.

Any leads to someone you trust that way ?It’s about three hours away. I’m not able to go scope it out.
12” blocks my goodness people are ****ing idiots ! Hell I refuse to use a 2” block ! When I installed my rear Skyjacker springs many years ago I wanted some rake, I disassembled the stock spring packs robbed the bottom straight load carrier leafs painted them up nice and bought some longer center bolts and added them to the Skyjacker packs, works perfect looks kool and does not adversely affect ride at all….It looks like a 12" block for the rear axle when you follow the arch of the leaf spring... The guy doesn't have any decent pics though, so it is really hard to see if it is well built or booty fab.
