Crews and worthy rigs Around the country

I have three more specific squarebody trucks that I want to own one day. Two of them are for sale right now in the area:
  • 1979 K10 Shortbed (Bonus Camper!!): LINK
    • The year matters here, this and 1980 are my favorite roundeye front ends/grilles.
  • 1983 C30 Crewcab Dually: LINK
    • The year matters less here, I just want a good-condition towing rig for the future to bring other projects home. The 454 / automatic combination seems like a great driveline.

LOL I just realized that first listing is a K5. Didn’t even read it. Still badass.

Cool truck but with that much weight I would want at least an 8.3 engine
I picked up this truck about 2 years ago, I'm pretty happy with the 8.3 in it but as it only has an Eaton/Fuller 5 spd a transmission swap will hopefully happen someday soon.
The Ford water truck in the background has a 5.9, it does ok unloaded but as expected a bit of a slug when loaded.
