Crews and worthy rigs Around the country

When did the hydroboosts show up in the one tons?
Hydro-boost power assist was introduced in 1973 by Bendix as an alternative to the vacuum booster.
The hydro-boost uses the hydraulic pressure from the power steering system to provide the driver
assist in applying the brakes. There are three reasons why a vehicle may be equipped with hydro-
boost instead of a vacuum booster:

See now you guys have me dreaming of getting one of these trucks again with the thread.

Check this little monster out. I would almost buy this one except I am curious about this 3/4 to 1/2 ton frame work on the back end to get the short bed that they did. I am hoping they mean they cut the 3/4 ton frame to fit a 1/2 ton bed on the 3/4 ton frame. Not they cut the 3/4 ton frame to fit on the back half of a 1/2 ton frame to make it fit the short bed. That would defeat the the strength of the frame I would think.

Either way, a sexy looking truck for a hot price.

I think thats the baddest truck I may have seen. I'm currently sellin my blazer and quads to come up with the $$$ to build one of these. and that happens to be the stance and color I'm going with. I'll do the lift with b52's and a flip kit but otherwise the same. Man I gotta get my crap sold.

The frame strength doesn't matter when it has lighter duty axles swapped in. It's basically a crew cab Heavy Half, or Big 10.

the add says something about having 1/2 ton hubs swapped on:dunno: ive never heard of that. I dont care I still want it:D
