Crews and worthy rigs Around the country

For the low low prive of $18k!!

My bets are that he's still losing money on the deal. He's described quite a number of high-dollar mods. This type of project is terrible, from a selling/money recouping standpoint. And getting bored right at the end of a project is a sure way to lose money. :doah:

Realistically, I think he will be able to sell it pretty quick for about $9k. If it were $5k,i would do all things necessary to make it mine.

Yeah, when the price dropped far enough someone like me would snatch it right up! :thumb:

'Till then, I think I'll continue not owning a nicely restored Cummins-equipped vehicle. I have happier ways of spending $18k or even $9k.

Also, I don't have nearly enough pictures to tell how nice that body is. But it sounds like it received far less attention than the drivetrain did. So, for me, it's backwards. As I enjoy bodywork far less than engine work, I'd prefer a spotless, perfectly restored body with a blown-up engine.

That's a good looking rig. Needs a factory grille, proper badges, and better wheels. This trend of 18 inch or bigger diameter, 14" wide and 3 inch backspaced wheels is utter faggotry.

A decent '75 K5 in Eugene, OR

I was about to go look at this one but changed my mind. It could be a cool project for someone. He's a nice older guy. I talked to him a few times on the phone.

Those don't look like 60 hubs up front. I love how he claims $12,000 into but doesn't list anything done.
