1987 Chevrolet R30 Custom Deluxe Crew Cab 12 valve cummins swap

On ebay is a Cummins crew cab. Looks like a nice start to a good truck other than its lack of a front axle :rolleyes:. For the Northwest crew.

I, too, looked at it and figured it wasn't worth nearly the asking price, as I couldn't see anything remarkable about it, and it obviously has been tampered with (should not have a carb that late).

But I didn't see the front axle at all. How did you spot the non-D60 axle underneath there? :popcorn:

If it's got a 60, the ad would say it. That's a sought after upgrade.
 
half the people that have them dont even know that though lol. its sad really... most of the ones that say they have it really dont... and I've seen adds around here before that called a full crewcab dually a 1/2 ton:haha:
 
I had a guy argue with me his 8lug dana front was a 60 .

I pulled my plow truck up next to his and said look at mine and tell me what that is then .

he shut up and walked away mad as he just purchased the truck and paid good money and it wasn't a 60 :D
 
All K30/V30's have Dana 60's. All of them.

All 1991 V30's with an automatic would have had a 4L80E/NP205 as well.
