I thought the same, but recently I became aware of an '81 K20 Burb with a 292 and an FF. Then I was shown an original GM document for the year that stated the availability of the FF. However, I do not recall if '81 was the only year it was available.

I've forgot more about old trucks than the average collector ever learned... 80-85 had a lot of changes every year, not all at once. Makes it easy to mix them up.
