The most forward truck had a healthy 454 w/ 781’s sweet wiggle stick, 465/205 w/ a MsCloed dual-disc clutch setup and D60/D70 6.17’s & D/L’s.
The truck behind that one was NVRENUF’s old ride that made him a local legend - real healthy 454, 049’s, JW TH400/205, D60/14B w/ T/L & D/L 5.13’s.
There was another on the other side of John’s truck that had a healthy 454 w/ 781’s , 465/205, D60/14B w/ D/L 4.56’s.
My 83 K-3500 crew cab dually w/ 454 781’s , 465/205, D60/D70HD, D/L 4.56’s was parked behind us taking a picture along with another K-10 with a 454, TH350/208, D60/14B D/L 4.56’s.
There seemed to be a pattern of engine combo parts selection going on with all these trucks.. gotta love a good ole BBC with oval-port heads and a proper cam and pistons for squeeze cause it just worked great w/o break’n the bank ( well, maybe a little…).
I said all that just to say that yes, that color combo looks great.
