The bracing they put in those frames was crazy. The drive shaft u-joint was right under the hinge. A hydraulic lock to lock it closed. If you were not on flat ground, it would twist the crap out of the frame when you dropped the back half.

My dad looked at those when we had the towing company. He opted for the new fangled rollback, on an F600, if I remember right.
