critque my PS steering setup.

This is all in my mind not done yet so please correct me if im wrong in this.

Its going to start with a hydroboost reseverior fed down to my pump with the chrystler nipple. Then the high side out the pump will have a new larger (not sure what size yet) hydraulic line fed into a remote oil filter.

Out the remote oil filter fed into a plate style cooler mounted on the radiator support keeping both the cooler and filter lower than the pump but higher than the box. Then into the box. Return line will be a new larger hydraulic line back to the pump.

Of course I have hydro assist but am not planning on touching that. How does this setup sound?
 
If im not mistaken you want to mount your cooler and filter on the low pressure return side of the pump,
So from the pump high pressure outlet direct to your steering box and ram, the return from the steering box is low pressure and will be your choice based on location of components on filter first or cooler first. It may be easier to run to the bottom of the cooler first and out of the top to your filter and then in to your resi and back to the inlet feed on the pump.

This will save cost on high pressure lines and fittings
 
Other than cost, why would you put it on the low pressure side? You not filtering anything before the box and ram. I once had a cooler on LP side and was told it needed to be on high pressure side to be correctly installed.

The cooler would need to be rated for higher pressure ~2000psi.
 
same with the filter and then you have to take in to account your flow restrictions and pressur drop threw these items
