putting a 4 speed in my burb and i need the cross member that holds the carrier bearing for the 2 piece drive shaft. its different than the one they use in the pickups. thanks,

jason

not sure how the crew cabs are. on the pickups the frame slopes back up at the rear of the cab where the crossmember is, and on the burb it stays straight...

Why are you planning on using the 2 piece driveshaft? You can do a 1 piece a lot easier than finding that crossmember.

i was tring to avoid the expense of having a 67" driveline made...

i'm sure i could make a crossmember too. just hoping to get lucky and use all factory stuff...

unless you have a good 2 peice driveline in stock its going to cost you 2x the price over just a single drive line unit.

3 joints / 3 yokes / slip shaft unit / carrier bearing unit / 2 sections of tube.

1 slip unit / yoke / 2 joints / 1 section of tube.

i just got a new tube at 66" length 3.5" .083 wall cut balenced out the door 91 bucks. and if i needed all new from scratch with all spicer its 250-275 range.

You can probably find a good used long driveline out of a 3/4 ton truck that won't even need to be modified. I have one out of a long bed I had cut down to fit a blazer at one point. Unless your dealing with a 2wd? Those were common with the 2 piece driveline.

Did Sub ever come with a two piece driveshaft? I thought never and I second the motion of just getting a one piece built.

I have the cross member that you want but I say the same thing get one driveshaft done.
I might even have a driveshaft for you, it 67" from yoke to yoke?

i already have the 2 piece drive line and its 67" as well. how much do you want for the cross member shipped to 97702?
