Cross over pitman arm.....What is yours off of?

Looks like the Superlift 4" drop arm many people run. There is a part number people always through with it. 4011 maybe????

1104 superlift arm for Fords.

There is a factory one on some ford Vans that have less height. Junkyard price, next to nothing.

Wrangler YJ fits an clears the frame , free from someone at a shop that does lots of jeep lifts . Just open the hole for the tre/dle .

Thats what I did, seems to be working just fine. I got mine off a cherokee for like $5 at a junkyard it looks pretty close to the one pictured too. If you go this way you can grab the steering shaft as long as you are there, get rid of those rag joints

the yj arm also gives you the most clearance for the spring plate. i needed it with 52's up front. you will encounter engine x-member interference when using it, so be ready to change it out or clearance it alot.

That one don't look like Superlift to me. The Superlift arm is "beefier" meaning its more "squarish" shape than like that one. Hard to explain so will wait for someone to post a pic.

Not to hijack, but that is the dropped pitman arm people talk about when you install a lift? (Looking to do a 4inch lift so im curious about it)

Are you going to do crossover steering as well?

Does anybody know the specifics on the XJ, YJ, and Furd Van pitman arms?

What years, frame/spring plate/x-member clearance, which ones need to be tapered for DLEs etc. I have heard that only certain XJ arms work (perhaps 2WD vs 4WD?). Is that true with the YJ and Ford ones too? I'm looking to go x-over and don't want to spend too much.

stock yj arm. 87- 95 jeep wranglers. it will need to be reamed to the correct size. if you have a bent draglink it should have clearance with the engine x-member.

I started with that arm, but did not get full lock, to lock turning. I went with the ford 78-79 drop pitman arm, it is longer, and drops a little more. It works much better, full turning radius, and no more cross member interference.

Where'd you get yours from?

I'm going to try a grand Cherokee pitman arm
