I'm sure the people with crossover will far out number the hi-steer crowd.

If you have hi-steer, why did you choose it instead of crossover?

Basically what im getting at is you dont do hi steer without crossover steering.

Or is your question supposed to read:

Of those who have done crossover steering , who also did hi steer?

In that case i just did crossover since i didnt want to worry about the added stress at the top of the knuckles. I have a nice beefy tierod that i dont not hit very often and when i do it has shown no signs of bending or any other issues.

Yes I know that. Do I really need to spell it out, crossover with hi-steer
If you have either one you know what I'm talking about

Crossover only for the same reasons as NorCal_Chris.

I went hi steer, I was repeatedly bending tie rods every trip out, so I said fukk it and ordered hi steer...Havent touched it since.

project not finished yet but i went crossover / high steer. but i did 1 better and also went reid / dedenbear knuckles on the 60 also . this got me thicker knuckles and 5th stud hold down.

and i did high steer for up/out of the way tie rod.

I just have crossover, running stock knuckles I dont want the added stress and I dont hit my tie rod that much.

now when/if I upgrade knuckles Ill probably also add hi-steer so I dont have to worry about my tie rod

I have crossover, but no hi steer yet. I have the Ballistic Fab crossover arm and when I was buying the drivers side springless plate, I decided for the extra 60 bucks or around there, I would just get the hi steer arm. I have the 1.5" tierod from ORD and like it. If I ever bend it or get hung up, I will just buy a shorter tierod and stick it up there.

Crossover w/hydro.

Although my ORD 1.5 tie rod does have a fair number of gouges and a slight bow to it. lol

Sounds pretty simple to me or are we on Pirate4x4 again?

No sh!t . I only went crossover for less stress on the tops of the knuckles.
If I went hi steer I would get better knuckles. But when I upgrade
I'm doing full hydro

Crossover, with an ORD 1.5" tie rod on the brown truck:woot:

I thought about hi steer but I couldn't justify it for the price.

I have high-steer. Stock knuckles.

I would probably just do crossover next time or do the behind the axle high-steer. I really would like to push the front axle forward, but I can't without the draglink rubbing the tie rod. I also don't want to spend any more money/time/effort on my steering. Too much of the budget spent on it.

I have push-pull on the burbalanche. Its wicked scary to drive. Start with crossover. Then go from there if budget allows. My .02

I voted crossover only becase its what I had. later on i would like to do high steer, but for now its on the road and soon to be on the trail, so im happy with it.
