I am going to end up having to put a spacer on my dana 60 steering arm and while i do not like this idea, i was wondering since i have hydro assist, how much stress does the arm see anyway? any ideas?

You have crossover but still need a steering block, is that right?

If so, I wouldn't worry a lot, hydro assist takes stress away from the mechanical part of the system.

How much do you need to raise it?
Most spacers I've seen are 2-3" tall.
If you don't need that much raise you could get a raised steering arm instead.

A new steering arm doesn't cost much more than a spacer.

Virginia 4x4 has steering arms that are 2inch thick, machined on both sides, gives lots of clearance and only 130.00...
