Need the vacuum and electrical wire for the Servo out of the way to get a wiring harness in the easy way. My manual is apparently written for those who already know how to do it. I understand the vacuum lines will just pull out. The wiring has me confused. Is the connector at that fancy plug at the firewall end or at the servo end. I tried vainly to disconnect that fancy plug but couldn't get it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Is a screw in the middle of bulkhead connector, (fancy plug). Undo screw till it loose enough to flop around. Grab bulkhead connector and wiggle strongly while pulling. Has black anti corrosion goop in-between

No, I have the bulkhead connector off. With the vacuum lines and electrical connector to the cruise control servo out of the way I can drop the new harness right in place. Otherwise I have to snake it behind the servo which will be rough on the new harness. The pigtail from the servo is about 8" and connects to part of the dash harness inside the engine bay. I have been trying to get that connector apart and been struggling with it. Looking for some guidance in how to get that connector apart. Thanks.

Alternatively, can the connector at the Servo itself be disconnected while on the truck? Thanks.

Push down on tab (red arrow) and pull gray connector. you can remove the whole unit with wires attached. Maybe I am missing something here, but it seem a simple task.

Thanks all for the input. I finally got past this with the help of a few bucks. I have a tendency to fret over little details because I like my truck. This was part of my first wire harness replacement. I want to be sure I don't make things worse as I try to fix them. Thanks again.
