If you dont have a CUCV then pretty much nothing.:D The mil used these so they could turn out the headlights and not be seen by enemy aircraft when in a large caravan. It's more for somebody wanting to put one back in stock Mil condition.

i have cucv axles...is that close enough??? haha...cool man...thanks anyways. i think the fish and wildlife commision has those for catching poachers also...i think. well, BTT for ya man.

It puts out a dim light that is barely enough to drive by at slow speeds. They put out a lot of light if you drive with NVG's on though.

I don't know about '86... but I was driving these trucks with NGV's in the mid 90's in the National Guard. Talked to the guys that do OptFor down at Ft Polk though and with NVG's in an airplane you can still see these lights from the sky very well.

That's an interesting little contraption. Where does the light emit from? Why are they shaped so goofy?

The light is under that little hood, and it emits maybe.....10ft in front of the truck in a little halo, that I can tell, of course that is in my backyard with streetlights 100ft away.

looks like i'm to slow....i'm looking for this light set, is it sum'n hard to find...is it available aftermarket or somewhere?
