The CUCV wheels are probably gone?

Martin

It had three of them on there, before I didn't know that they were not the same. So I didn't look for the forth. what are the differences? Third one in the back

The M1009 CUCV wheels are just base stamped steel wheels, but with 8" wide hoops instead of 6".

Worth anything? I was thinking about getting it for "my stock"

Brush Guard

I'm interested in the clevis mounts sticking out of the bumpers. Any idea what they'd cost?

And yeah, that brush guard is pretty neat, IMO.

Clevis Mounts, front AND rear?

I'm interested in the rear tow hook mounts also.

Rear clevis mounts is campfire doesn't take them?

I would take the bumpers and tow hook thingies, but I don't feel like shipping a bumper.

Martin

front or rear bumper?

providing this stuff is still there.
is this correct? planing on heading out to the yard first thing in the morning.

I'm in for all 4 mounts. IIRC, they attach directly to the frame with a couple of bolts. What do you want for your time?

Did you reply to your own musing about the brush guard?

Either way, it's worth grabbing.

fyi the front mounts do have a extra plate sandwiched to the frame for reinforcement of the ends of the frame rails .

but there riveted in place with the front core support and spring hanger rivits .

just so you know . :thumb:

they still come off with out removale of the extra plate tho .

I sure did. I might. :hack:and :weld:
it up and use it on my truck. Not sure yet. But if its there and I'm pulling the rest of that stuff I will have to take it anyway. Hope all of this is still there.

Martin. How serious are you on those bumpers? They run 45 a piece.

So it's a good idea for me to fab up some reinforcement?

Without the mounts, I'm not real interested. Thanks just the same. If they have the wheels I would be interested.

its a simple flat plate .

I can post pics of them on my k30 frame that was a m-series truck . I am leaving them on mine for extra beef were the plow frame bolts up . and also adding the brush guard if it all fits with the plow frame :dunno: have not got that far yet .

Sure. A picture would help me visualize it much more clearly.

Even just civilian trucks with tow hooks had a reinforced plate riveted to the end of the frame.
