CUCV M1009 Block Heater?

Ok Gents....

I want to use my M1009 for Boardin in da hills, and I dont want to have hard start issues in the morning... I know its a dream of mine..

Anywho I was thinking about adding a heater this rig.. Just looking for some advice or options...

It is a stock 6.2 CUCV with the original 12/24 setup..

Same part number as a civvie one for a 6.2 the block heater has to be plugged into 110 volts though (house current).

Oh hell I'll even find you a part number....back in a flash

Phillips/Temro or Zero Start (all the same company) has 2 part numbers
3100057 600 watt heater-for most people this is all you need
3100059 1000 watt heater- if you live where it gets -10 below or colder for extended periods this is the one, just keep in mind this will suck some juice to run
 
It sounds like he is wanting a block heater that runs on something other than 120V. Like he will be spending the night somewhere with no electricity available.
 
Espar D5 is what all the guys have on their cummins around here.

Diesel fired coolant heaters. lots of highway tractors have Espars here too.
