curb impact! what to check? (which is now about my steel rally restore)

I really like the sorta retro look it gives the truck, especially with the rallys. However, in hindsight, blackwall would have been smarter since i'm banging the crap out of them on rocks.
 
it goes back to my hotrod days as a young bodyman... I found them to clutter up the purity of tire to body panels...

I also don't dig wheel well moldings usually...

I think the raised white lettering works on yours since you have white in the two tone paint, and have a way different tone of blue. I did letters out on my red & white C10 years ago and it was cool looking. Before I had these mounted on Blue, I leaned them up each way, stepped back and had a look. Wasn't digging the white on what was otherwise deep blue & black.
