Current GM techs and accessory installers

i want to put the recon LED cab lights from the 07-11 body style onto my 05 2500HD

have yall done this? is there a kit to make them fit or what? i dont want to order them if they will not work.

but don't see why it couldn't work if the roof contours are the same

They will "fit" but you'll have to cut holes in your roof! so measure 10 times and drill once! Just wire them to the park lights at the back of the headlight switch, NOT the dash lights or you could dim them!!
