Well, I made an intro here a while ago, but never posted up pictures of my project. it is a 1970 Chevy Blazer. Currently has a rebuilt 350 under the hood, with a SM465/205 combo backing it up, going to 3:73's in the axles. The front was swapped to disc brakes, and the brakes were all re-done before i bought it. It had new quarters installed, and some (poor) floor work done.
I was able to load and unload the truck under it's own power, and get it into my garage. The wiring was all messed up in it, and the tires didn't hold air. First thing I did was get a free set of Rally rims from a friend, and found a set of 31"s with 75% tread for $100 and slapped them on there to get it sitting correctly. I then started tackling the wiring. I swapped out the wiring, and attempted to wire it for the HEI that was included with it. I believe I have messed up the wiring somewhere in there as I am not turning over like I was before, so I can no longer start it.
And this is where I got to when work picked up and took all my time. I did buy a Miller 135 welder, rust free bed supports and patch panels, plus rockers out of California, and a few other spare parts in there, but no work for 3 months.
Well, work settled down, my parts from california showed up, and I started to look for parts I needed for my blazer again. This led me to find (randomly) a 1970 GMC 3/4 ton 4x4 suburban in syracuse, about an hour from me. It was rusty, but had a lot of rare parts, and had the GMC front clip I wanted for the blazer. So sunday night my father and I took his truck up and hauled it back. His 99 k1500 suburban towed the monstrosity like a champ.
So now I am going through and figuring out what I need to do to get my blazer on the road. The suburban was bought for parts since it is rusty (although savable if someone wanted a project) It included a complete 350/TH350/NP205/Eaton No-Spin/ 4.56 gears, which I will probably keep to use in the blazer. I'll be pulling the drive train except axles, the front clip and the bumpers for my project, but will be posting the shell up after that (can include a chevy front)
And now for the pictures:

So now the project can begin, starting with figuring out how I am going to get the suburban to fit in my garage.
