Tucson is grand indeed but we still get up to 5* hotter up here in the valley. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Remember Jerry I haven't had A/C in my k-5 for 9 years now.... Maybe finish it this year....

Dash looks cool, but how hard are they to see without them angled up at all....

The old and weak? /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif It took me $600 to get my A/C going last spring....worth every penny though. Get to keep the tinted winders up, the noise out, and the cool, quiet air inside. After having it I wouldn't drive the K5 without it. /forums/images/graemlins/pimp1.gif

The dash in my 74 plow truck is very similar to the one pictured, custom built by the previous owner. It has stewart warner speedo, fuel gauge, vaccuum gauge, oil press, volts gauge, and a tach. The guy who installed it was a real butcher though--seems every wire was an inch too short,so he spliced em all, there is electrical tape and wire nuts, even a 7 prong trailer connector under the dash, and he stuck nails into the original printed curcuit wire harness to tap in the wires to the gauges and turn signal indicators(which are LED's!).Too bad he did a nice job on the dash, but really butched the harness to hook it up--it wouldn't have been too hard to have done it right, not that many wires--I saved a complete wiring harness and a stock dash to put it back to stock, but 10 years later,I still havent changed it!.The truck is ready for recycling now,so it probably wont get changed!. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Is that just a shell over the old dash structure, or is it totally new?

The old dash is out of there! I couldn't stand lookin at the abortion any longer. So I did the custom dash to be different.

that looks killer... love the marine battery switch. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif i snagged one from work for when i get around to a dual battery setup..

i think you guys would dig the led tipped marine toggles i get from work outta the Sea Rays.. brushed aluminum with red or green tips, very bling! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif i run em in my switch panel down in the center console of my chevelle..

i'll have to hunt down a link....

there actually not very hard to read at all, but there is a little issue with my steering wheel getting in the way, but its not as bad as it may look. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
