So I want to know, what will it cost (Approximetly) to build a single exhaust for my K5? I already have a 40 series flowmaster. The reason I want single, is cause of Cali emition reasons. It will be 2 1/2" exhaust, manderal bent. What have you paid? Details..

C'mon, I know there are a few rigs with custom fabbed exhaust. Anyone?

I paid a shop $400 for dual h-pipe exhaust on my Fairlane and I supplied the flowmasters. I probably should have looked around a little more, but they did a pretty good job. No fancy SS, just the aluminized stuff.

Maybe you should give a little more info and wait longer than half an hour:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Will you install or someone else? Regular pipe or SS? From the manifolds back? Welded or clamps?

BTW, I don't think you'll get a definitive answer anyway. Too many variables as labor, shipping, etc.

BTW, mine was from the long tube headers back to a turn down just ahead of the rear axle.

I was talking about a shop building it, welded, with aluminized stock. Headers back. I wasnt aware that summit made a system. I'll give it a look see.

I paid 160 for a catback with flowmaster on my '01 1/2 ton, but the guy running the shop was a tweek so I think that had something to do with the price.

I believe I paid around $110 for two flowmaster 40's. $100 for high flow cats. I also ordered shorty headers $220 Then I paid a shop to put true dual exhaust in....that cost like $150. I just bough polished tips for $15 bucks.

i bought a couple mandrel j bends from summit, 2.5" with a 5.5" radius. I also bought a couple straight pipes from summit as well 2.5", 5' long welded it myself to a couple of flowmasters i bought years ago. 100 bux and my time.

I tried to weld up an exhuast system once. I discovered that I haven't developed that skill yet. Even though I couldn't find any holes, I'm sure it leaked and it was real ugly. Now quick somebody give me a mig welder so I can practice!
