Anyone have or have pics of the bushwacker cut out fender flares on a 01-07 2500hd?
Just picked up an 06 dmax and want to level it and put 33/12.50/20's on it. Pretty sure they'll rub though. So my thought is to use the cutout flares to make a little more room.

google is your friend

well they will add a fair amount of room if you hack away your stock sheetmetal. I would personally never do that do a new truck. I would rather lift it a little more, or run a little smaller tire than run those flares and hack up the fender.

285/75R16s on my 2500HD with the TBs cranked 1" with no rub at all, except the sway bar on tight turns. This is with stock wheels.

Leveling kit and 33's

Rubs the back fender but they aren't trimmed.

The "Cut-out" flares dont really get you any more room in the rear, bottom of the front fender (where they rub of course).
33" tires should fit well with a leveling kit (or crank up). its actually the WHEEL width and backspace that will make them clear or not.
Stock wheels work great! Or just keep rims 8" or less and a 4 3/4" backspace. you'll be fine!

I`ll be getting new tires next week, 255/85/16 on factory pyo`s. The tires are 34 inches tall. I got a 2 inch leveling kit with 285/75/16s now. When i turn full lock they just rub the mud flap alitle, no bige deal. I might have to trim a bit for the new tires.

I wouldn`t do the bushwackers to much cutting and drilling. The truck in the pic looks good but like said I don`t think they will give much more room.

Dang! Your truck looks just so right!!!! :thumb: Looks perfect with that setup! That's what size tires it should come with from the get-go!!! Any problems from the cranked bars or wear on the frontend from the bigger tires? How's the ride with the cranked bars? How well do the tires do on the narrow stock rims (do they crown wear too bad?)? What tires are those? Sorry for the inquisition, I'm just now contemplating some bigger tires since my truck's warranty is up and I'm due for some tires in the near future! OP- Sorry for the hijack! :D

On the original topic- I really like the looks of the cutout flares personally but, no way I am gotta cut up the DMAX, it was too expensive!!!! That one black DMAX with the cutouts and lift does look SICK though!!! :thumb:

Rides good not much worse then stock, bearly had to tighten the adjustment bolts, bilstiens are alot stiffer then the stock crap.

Wear has been fine nothing out of the norm.

3 years or more(not completely sure).
