well i was going to get bushwackers but after reading this revived post i am pretty sure that i am doing some fender trimming if i can get it to look like k5 rockcrawlers. Any trick to making ur likes look that smooth or did u just cut away and that was it.

Oops that was supposed to read as follows. were there any tricks that you used to make yours look that smooth of did you just use the sawsall?

I justr used some of that flexible pinstripers tape to mark out the pattern and did most of the cutting with a regular old cutoff wheel and cleaned up with a die-grinder. The first two are with my old 35's on it & the last is with the new 39's, 4" Tuff Country springs w/zero rate.

When I lifted mine 6" I put 33s on it and with the sway bar disconnected and the very tips of the fenders trimmed I still rubbed pretty good. Here is what it looked like with 33s

Here is how much I cut off. I used a 4.5" angle grinder for a nice slow and controled cut.

I have a buddy that is a bodyman. I had him do the cutting. If I would have tried it probably would have looked like crap. He marked it out with fineline and then cut away. Cut all the rust out in the process. Worked pretty good.
