hey.... ive been told by many people that cutting the doors to fit my blazer will be a piece of cake ... but no one has ever done it or even can tell me how????????

any suggestions???????:dunno:

Umm, Sawzall? :dunno:

Assuming you have the old doors to use as templates, it's easy to cut the new to look like the old. The original 73-75 doors do have one or two metal bits inside where the cuts are; if you know somebody with a welder, maybe they could pop some scrap into the same place.

If you *don't* have the originals, you're in for more work.

yea i got the original ones & i seen the metal pieces inside ...... jusy was wondering if someone knew a fail safe way to cut the doors......

You know the old saw (heh heh, get it? :haha: ) about "measure twice, cut once."

I assume you're cutting down truck doors to fit under your Blazer's top, taking the upper and rear frame off?

yea im looking for a good pair of manual doors to put on it but for now im going to practice with this pair of electric doors i got dirt cheap figure ill gain my experiance on them.....

If they're 73-80 doors, you could swap everything over. Electrics are weird, there's different kinds in different years, but the manual stuff's pretty straight-forward.

Anyway, sounds like you have a plan. I think that with care, a Sazwall could be a precision instrument :haha:

Yea.. That would probably be a good tool but all I have is a grinder ... I think a cut off disc might get the job done... We'll see...
