I bought a 97 3500 4x4 crew cab and already know what i'm going to do to the sides and rear to make it shorter and add rocker clearance. But i'm not sure about the front. Can you narrow it without causing alot of problems with new mounting points for the computers? Just poking around right now won't start for months. Still getting parts together. Has anyone narrowed to the point of moving the radiator to the rear. Dont think i want to go that narrow Still want to make it look to the cops like it maight actually be legal. But i wouldn't mind hearing from anyone who has narrowed the front anywhere from inches to feet.

What are you doing with the front diff assembly? Any idea if it has 4.10's? Most 3500's do. Let me know, I might be interested in it, but that is a lot of miles (saw your post in Avery's thread).

I'll be taking it apart bolt by bolt when it comes time. I have no idea what gear it is but i'm sure it's lower than 3.73. Nothing to take pics of yet. It's still work truck mode for atleast another 6 months. I"m trying to make the truck pay for itself doing side work. Right now its just a crew cab chevy with a couple of door dings one little hole in the drivers seat and more miles than i've seen on a original big block close to 270K. I am going to put intake, valve cover, and oil pan gaskets on it this weekend. It runs ok just leaks alittle like and old truck.
