I've been looking and I cant find any limited slips that I like for my D60. I'm fixing to replace the gears so I want to get a limited slip up front. I really want a Detroit Tru-track but I dont think they are made for D60's so what are my other options? I would prefer one with gears instead of clutches but I want to see what all my options are. Thx

depending on what kind of wheeling you do you might not want a locker, but if you do--lock-rite--

if you are set on a posi--the toughest ones i have seen are power-loc's

Where can I look at them? I do not want a locker b/c or steering issues and cost. Last time I checked a D60 detroit locker was like $600 and most LS's area around 3-400.

Even with my Power Lock I had steering issues. It acts almost as bas as a Detroit. The only real way around it is a selectable locker like an ARB.

they make trutracs for 60s but you do not want that expensive open dif

I was reading something last night, a back issue of Petersons, they built one for thier "Army" truck. Said they used new clutches, and the 35 spline side gears from a Dana 70 , so they could run 35 spline ( and they also used 35 spline stubs, and Terra Low locking hubs ). They said it was hard to find in junkyards, either version. /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

Stubs have nothing to do with what carrier you run, there is a u joint between them and the inner shaft. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
