I'm putting my D60 back together after being apart for a long time. I was able to install the new spindle on the passenger side with no problem. On the drivers side the spindle gets about 1/4 inch from being flush and it stops. The axle looks to be all the way in the housing... is it uncommon to use the six studs/nuts to draw the spindle into position? I dont want to bend or ruin anything!

thanks!

Its not uncommon to have to draw it in with the nuts...the spindle is tapered at the end almost a press fit.
